En sortant du parking de la gare, vous \u00eates imm\u00e9diatement aspir\u00e9 par la campagne et ses champs verts \u00e0 perte de vue. Notre promenade commence juste en face de la gare. De l\u00e0, nous continuons \u00e0 descendre dans cette clairi\u00e8re jusqu'\u00e0 Creatpark Wood, o\u00f9 nous tournons pour faire une boucle. Nous commen\u00e7ons alors \u00e0 remonter en entrant dans les bois. Nous continuons en haut de la colline jusqu'\u00e0 <em><strong>Bois Wingate<\/strong><\/em>. Juste avant d'entrer <em><strong>Mary&#8217;s Wood<\/strong><\/em>Nous changeons de direction et descendons la colline pour couper \u00e0 travers la ville. <em><strong>Bois du Nord<\/strong><\/em>. Nous arrivons \u00e0 la&nbsp;<em><strong>Mausol\u00e9e de Darnley,<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;un b\u00e2timent class\u00e9 Grade I. Il appartient \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Trust<\/a>. The Mausoleum, made of brick, was designed by James Wyatt (1746-1813). He was commissioned by the Earl&#8217;s family as there was no longer space available for burial at Westminster Abbey. Completed in 1808, it was never used for burial. The Mausoleum started to decline and was subject to vandalism until it was renovated in 2013. Il est tr\u00e8s courant, bien qu'effrayant, de les trouver en train de brouter dans les bois de Cobham. Nous retournons \u00e0 pied sur Sole Street o\u00f9 un bon repas nous attend au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theleatherbottle.pub\/index\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bouteille en cuir<\/a>. This pub is well known for being Charles Dickens&#8217; favourite ale house in Cobham. It also features in Charles Dickens&#8217; first novel: The Pickwick Papers. It has a large back garden which is ideal in the summertime. Even though they are famous for their afternoon tea, they also served delicious home-cooked dishes and have vegetarian and gluten-free options.
