This is how we ended up on a rainy day on a 17 miles (27km) walk from Wendover in the Chiltern AONB. Le point le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 est <em><strong>Colline de manutention<\/strong><\/em> (267m). Les Chilterns sont d\u00e9sign\u00e9s comme une zone de beaut\u00e9 naturelle exceptionnelle. Nous rencontrons des chevaux et des poneys alors que nous marchons \u00e0 travers les champs en direction d'Ellesborough. Cette maison de campagne a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e d'apr\u00e8s la famille Hampden qui a habit\u00e9 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 jusqu'en 1938. Le roi \u00c9douard III et le Prince Noir y auraient s\u00e9journ\u00e9. Ce village ais\u00e9 est bien connu pour avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 la maison de feu Roald Dahl, auteur de Charlie et la chocolaterie et de Matilda.
