Lorsque j'ai fait cette promenade, c'\u00e9tait ma premi\u00e8re randonn\u00e9e en dehors de Londres apr\u00e8s la lev\u00e9e des restrictions sur les activit\u00e9s de plein air. Je vous recommande vivement de vous arr\u00eater aux toilettes publiques de Goring avant de commencer la randonn\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Points forts de la marche dans le Berkshire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Village de Goring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00c9glise Saint-Thomas de Canterbury<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Village de Streatley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Village d'Aldworth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Circulaire Goring &amp; Streatley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les villages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La marche se d\u00e9roule dans le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northwessexdowns.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Wessex Downs<\/a>. Cette zone de 1730 km<sup>2&nbsp;<\/sup>s'\u00e9tend du Dorset au Kent. Elle est con\u00e7ue comme une zone de beaut\u00e9 naturelle exceptionnelle. Nous commen\u00e7ons notre promenade dans les villages jumeaux de Goring et Streatley. Nous arrivons \u00e0 la gare, situ\u00e9e dans le village de Goring, sur la rive gauche de la Tamise. Dans un jour \u00e0 peine, ils rouvriront leurs portes. Au bout de la High Street, nous tombons nez \u00e0 nez avec <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-marys-streatley.org.uk\/thomas.index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saint Thomas de Canterbury<\/a> L'\u00e9glise. Son histoire remonte au n\u00e9olithique, comme en t\u00e9moignent les outils trouv\u00e9s dans le village. Le village est c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pour l'attentat manqu\u00e9 de l'IRA en 1979, o\u00f9 une bombe visant un juge \u00e0 la retraite a explos\u00e9 lorsque le v\u00e9lo du facteur qui transportait le colis mortel est tomb\u00e9 de son support. Heureusement, personne n'a \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9. Il commence \u00e0 gr\u00ealer et nous sommes compl\u00e8tement expos\u00e9s sur ce chemin. De l\u00e0, nous faisons demi-tour et commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 marcher en direction de Goring et Streatley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous passons devant l'\u00e9cole de tir du Royal Berkshire, longeons des champs de paille et arrivons au pied de l'\u00e9cole de tir du Royal Berkshire. <em><strong>Bois commun<\/strong><\/em>. Devant nous se trouve notre derni\u00e8re colline, mais la plus raide de cette promenade. Nous revenons \u00e0 Streatley, traversons le pont dans la direction oppos\u00e9e et retournons \u00e0 la gare. Nous n'avons pas de repas dans les deux villages car les pubs sont toujours ferm\u00e9s en raison des restrictions impos\u00e9es par les autorit\u00e9s. Nous prenons un autre en-cas sur le quai en attendant le train.
