While I actually walked a much longer section\u2014from Weymouth to Lulworth\u2014in this post, I\u2019ll focus on the most renowned part:&nbsp;Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em>Looking for a longer route in the area? Once there, you\u2019ll have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Head to the beach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Climb to the top of the cliff<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">This natural limestone cove attracts&nbsp;<strong>around 500,000 visitors a year<\/strong>, especially in peak summer months (July and August). With its clear, turquoise waters, it&#8217;s an irresistible spot for beachgoers. Unfortunately, its popularity has led to some environmental damage, prompting the installation of protective fencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I opted to walk up to&nbsp;<strong>West Point<\/strong>, passing by&nbsp;<strong>Stair Hole<\/strong>, a mini version of Durdle Door formed through similar erosion processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\ud83d\udccd&nbsp;<strong>West Point<\/strong>&nbsp;is a dramatic cliffside viewpoint offering epic photo opportunities. Since there\u2019s only one way in and out, it\u2019s the ideal place for a scenic rest or selfie stop.
